The Homestead is a gracious home in a quiet rural landscape surrounded by gardens. It is completely self contained, comfortably furnished and equipped, including fridge freezer, microwave, automatic washing machine, television, VCR/DVD player, piano and barbecue. There is a modern kitchen, separate dining area and large lounge with a piano and a selection of books. There is one bathroom with shower, bath and toilet in the Homestead and a separate toilet in the adjacent Games Room area. There are three large bedrooms with five single and one queen size bed, plus two folding beds. All beds have electric blankets and a cot with mattress and high chair are on hand. The maximum that can be accommodated is nine adults plus one baby.  There is a sunny terrace with outdoor furniture situated on the north side of the house.

There is ample outdoor parking for cars.

The Games Room and the Billiard Room are immediately adjacent to the Homestead on the opposite side of the drive and are shared with residents of the Cottage. Table tennis, carpet bowls and a dartboard are available for visitors use. The tennis court and swimming pool are a short distance down the driveway.

Glen Innis is a working farm. If you would like to see the farm ask Graeme who will be pleased to provide guests with a guided tour of the farm in the utility vehicle, as farm work and weather permit.
