Church Relations, Donor Recruitment and Support Coordinator - Christian World Service (CWS)

We need a pragmatic idealist. A supreme networker, with high energy levels, great political skills and a constant eye for the bottom line. You’ll need to be faith based, love turning problems into solutions and a consistent performer.

Your mission? To build and sustain ways to get us more donor income by increasing donors, donations, and diversity of donors while enhancing our relationships with churches.

You’ll need: Strong church links and involvement, a good handle on how churches work in New Zealand, a real passion for social justice, ending poverty, plus a dash of charisma. The pragmatic skills needed to make it all work could involve past experience in sales, marketing or fundraising. We’ll view any, or all, of those skills as a major plus.

You’ll get: A ringside seat in New Zealand history. Christian World Service is the 66 year old justice, aid and development agency of New Zealand churches. We work to end poverty and injustice throughout the world by partnering with communities to build better lives and ways of living. We provide humanitarian aid in times of disaster and campaign against the causes of global poverty.
