Crisis Appeal

“More than 100 people have died and over 200 remain stranded as rescue workers in Taiwan struggle to reach communities cut off by floods and mudslides.” This statement was taken from a report provided by the Red Cross written on the 14 August 2009.

Ecumenical Youth Exchange Programme

 

Aim
The primary goal of EYEP is to provide church youth with a unique ecumenical and cross-cultural mission experience that will challenge their faith and strengthen their commitment to Jesus Christ.

 

Objectives

  1. To provide church youth with a unique ecumenical and cross-culture experience that will challenge their faith and strengthen their commitment to Jesus Chris.
  2. To get to know each other more
  3. To participate deeper in local and global missions

12 young people, 6 from PCANZ and 6 from PCT

New Relationship between the Auckland Presbytery and the Presbytery of Taichung

Purposes:

a) To promote the exchange of cultural and social experiences between our peoples and to learn from each other about mission in our two countries
b) To explore the possibilities of collaboration in preaching between the two countries.
c) To witness to the unity of serving one Lord, to glorify His name and to benefit the people.
