Praxis is a network of practitioners who work with local church and community groups to train Christians for meaningful engagement with their community. The Certificate in Youthwork is a full time course, accredited by NZQA and linked to Whitireia Polytechnic. Through a series of block courses in Wellington and Christchurch, you can complete course from where you are as you work with your church/parish to develop a youthwork practice in your own community. Course content includes; group facilitation, safe practice, mission theology, personal and spiritual development, community organising, counselling skills, mentoring, te reo Maori and leadership skills.

The next course starts March 31st 2003, applications close March 20th 2003.
